Location #2

The Las Cruces steel bridge. This bridge was built in 1909 and was actually on what is now the old Highway 1 alignment just as it intersects with the 101 in Las Cruces. There is some evidensce that this bridge may have once been located at the Gaviota pass and relocated here back in 1915 but I have not been able to fully verify this yet. It stood in the middle of the old community of Las Cruces.
